Overview of the AEMC PEL102 Power & Energy Data Logger
The PEL102 is an economically priced, simple to use, single, two, and three phase power/energy data logger. All PEL 100 series loggers offer a full range of essential functions for recording power and energy data from most electrical power networks in use across the world today. The PEL 100 series devices measure and record three True RMS voltage inputs and current inputs, Watts, VARS, VA, and Energy (kWh & kVA). Additionally, Power Factor (PF), Displacement Power Factor (DPF), Crest Factor, Frequency, and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) are calculated and recorded as well. Individual harmonic percent information from 1 to the 50th harmonic is recorded at the operator’s choice. All variables are recorded and stored at a once second interval and on user selectable demand intervals ranging from 1 to 60 minutes. The PEL 100 series loggers are powered using rechargeable batteries or can be powered directly off the panel when used with the optional 2137.98 power adaptor (sold separately). The PEL 100 series is the perfect choice for electricians, engineers, and contractors performing building and system monitoring and energy audits. The compact design allows the device to be installed inside a load center panel (including the current sensors) allowing the doors to close on most panels.
The PEL102 includes a storage bag, 3 x MiniFlex MA193-10-BK current sensors, 5’ USB cable, four black test leads and alligator clips, power cord, twelve color-coded ID markers, SD-Card with USB reader, and a USB drive containing the DataView software.
