What are the specifications on the software?
LogTag® Analyzer software provides an easy to use, powerful platform for configuring any LogTag® recorder product before deployment and for data analysis when the recorder is retrieved.  Optional automatic download of data when a new...
Can we buy Tag only.. We have a usb docking station already.
Yes, when you use the "add to cart" button for this product you are only purchasing the logger itself.  It will work in your existing docking station although depending on how old your software is you may have to update it for it to work properly...
What is the difference between TRIX-8 and TRIX-16 data loggers?
The only difference between the two versions is that the TRIX-8 has enough internal memory to store 8k readings while the TRIX-16 can store just over 16k readings.
how do you turn it on forv use
To use the logger you must first download and install the LogTag Analyzer Software.  Once this is done you will need to configure the logger for use and in the configuration settings you can choose multiple ways to start the logger. Here is a link...
Do I need to order a docking station for all 4 loggers or can the station be shared?
You only need one docking station per location (computer) you want to download the data too.  You can share a single docking station with an unlimited number of loggers.
What if I want to purchase this monitor. do I need to purchase the docking station if I already have one.
As long as you already have an existing docking station there is no need to purchase an additional one.  You can have any number of loggers share a single docking station.
For a LogTag Model Trix-16: If you set the frequency to read temp at 12hour intervals, but set the alarms to indicate for temps above 30C, will the alarm/indicator work based on the samples taken every 12 hours or for everything in between?
The alarm would only activate on the sampling interval.  We would suggest setting the sampling level to a rate that makes sense for your alarming needs.
