The XStream USB RF modems provide long range,
low power wireless serial communication through a laptop or
stationary PC’s USB port. The modem transfers a standard
asynchronous serial data stream between two or more modems. Its
built-in USB interfacing allows for rapid integration into existing
data systems. Modems are available for 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz ISM
band. The 9XStream-PKG-U 900 MHz radio is approved for use in
North America, Australia, Israel & many
other countries. The 24XStream-PKG-U 2.4 GHz radio was developed
for worldwide use.

1 ) Prices are per unit.
2) 2 or more units required for operation. Additional units
can be added for multipoint connection.
3) Connection can be serial to serial, serial to USB or
serial to Ethernet.
Units cannot be used for USB or Ethernet
bridging, i.e. going USB to USB. Serial units are dip
switchable to be RS-232,422 and 485.
4) Modems are available in 900MHz or 2.4 GHz. See the application note for differences.
5) Customers interested in 900 MHz modems for use in Israel, Australia
and New Zealand should contact
us to order the XH9 series instead of the XO9 series. The
frequency
used is slightly different in those countries.
