 The XBee XTender combines the strengths of the XBee-PRO and XTend communication devices to provide a long-range backhaul (up to 40 miles line-of-sight with a high-gain antenna) for low-power XBee networks. The XBee XTender effectively converts data between 2.4 GHz ZigBee/802.15.4 and 900 MHz unlicensed operating frequencies. The XTender is simple to configure, with advanced settings available, to expand It is simple to configure the XBee XTender to communicate with existing
XBee or XTend networks. Advanced configurations can be made by
connecting to a PC via the on-board USB port.
