AC Current Switch for HOBO State Loggers
Log equipment run-times using the new Onset CSV-A8 Current Switch
with HOBO State data loggers.
The CSV-A8 is a split-core AC Current Sensor with adjustable
threshold switch output to monitor when equipment turns on
and off. Just install the CSV-A8 around a current-carrying
wire to the equipment you need to monitor and connect to any
HOBO State change logger using the logger’s input cable.

- Relay output to HOBO State data logger for monitoring equipment
on/off and run-times
- Built-in On/Off status lights on the CSV-A8

no external power required
- Isolation: 600 VAC rms (maximum voltage when monitoring an
uninsulated conductor)
- Temperature range: -15° to 60°C (5° to 140°F)
- Humidity range: 0 to 95% RH non-condensing
- Status output ratings: N.O. 1.0A @ 30 VAC/DC maximum, not
polarity sensitive
- Off-State leakage: 0 Amps (open switch represents 1+ Megohms
of resistance)
