HOBO RH/Temp/2x External Data Logger
4-Channels: Temperature, Relativity Humidity and 2 External Inputs
The HOBO RH/Temp/2xExternal has 4-Channels: 1 for temperature, 1 for
relativity humidity and 2 that will accept external
inputs. It will measure and record up to 7,943
readings. It's reading rate is user selectable
with sampling intervals being 0.5 seconds to 9 hours,
recording times up to 1 year. Additional features include
programmable start time/date, nonvolatile EEPROM memory
which retains data even if battery fails and an extendable
internal temperature sensor.

External 2.5 volt input specifications
- 2.5 mm jack: external input ground, input, switched 2.5 V output;
external input ground connection is not the same as PC interface
connection ground and should not be connected to any external ground
- Input range: 0 to +2.5 Volts DC
- Accuracy: ±10 mV ±1% of reading
- Resolution: 10 mV (8-bit)Out power: +2.5 Volts DC at 2 mA, active
only during measurements

Intrinsically Safe Version
There is an intrinsically safe (IS) version of the HOBO RH/Temp/2x
External available for use in monitoring conditions in hazardous
locations where combustible dust or gas may be a concern.
The IS version
provides performance identical to the specifications of the
standard HOBO RH/Temp/2x External Data Logger.
Intrinsically Safe Rating of H08-007-IS:
IS, Class I, II, Division 1, Groups A-G, Temperature Code T4 (≤135°C);
NI, Class I, Division 2, Groups A-D, Temperature Code T4 (≤135°C);
S, Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G as specified in the US Electric
Code and approved by Factory Mutual.
Software and Accessories
NOTE: A BoxCar
Pro or
BoxCar starter kit is required
to operate any of the HOBO H8 Family
data loggers. Each Box
Car Starter Kit includes software, PC interface cable and software
manual.
