Overview of the HOBO U30-NRC-SYS-C Weather Station Starter Kit

The Onset HOBO U30-NRC-SYS-C is a prebuilt weather station starter kit that combines the rugged data logging U30 data logger with temperature, humidity, and windspeed & direction sensors. Also included in the kit are mounting accessories, solar panel, and a solar radiation shield for the temperature sensor. This kit combines all the popular sensor parameters in an easy to use out-of-the-box kit. At the heart of the kit is the U30 data logger that accepts up to 10 Smart Sensors. The included sensors only take up four channels leaving six available channels for expanding your station in the future. The Onset Smart Sensors are plug-and-play so all you need to do is plug them in and they are automatically recognized – no programing, wiring, or calibration necessary. The station is configured, and data viewed using HOBOware (free) or HOBOware Pro (paid) software. Just choose either the 2-meter or 3-meter tripod kit and you are ready to go!
