Overview of the Reed Instruments R6250SD Data Logging Heat Stress Meter
The Reed R6250SD Data Logging Heat Stress Meter measures temperature, humidity, and direct or radiant sunlight with Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT). With this information the logger can determine the “what it feels like” temperature. The R6250SD is OSHA recommended with a user adjustable WBGT audible alarm and the ability to adjust settings for indoor temperature measurement. Features include data hold, max/min functions, and an easy-to-ready backlit LCD display. The R6250SD can manually record up to 99 readings or automatically by selecting the desired sample rate from 1 to 3600 seconds. Raw data can be directly transferred from the SD card as an Excel file which can be viewed without needing any additional software. The R6250SD is the perfect for monitoring environmental stress factors in sports, schools, and work environments.
