Overview of the Dent Instruments ElitePro XC Recording Power Meter

The ElitePro XC™ Portable Power Data Logger is an ideal portable solution for identifying energy usage and recording performance metrics. It can measure and store electrical consumption data for analyzation by monitoring voltage and current inputs. The ElitePro XC™ is the perfect tool for performing energy audits, allowing you to capture kWh/kW energy and demand data and virtually all other relevant energy parameters which can be used for diagnostics and monitoring on single and three-phase circuits. Dent Instrument's ELOG™ software makes it easy to set up and use the device. Optional WIFI communication module and mobile app allow real-time remote data monitoring. You’ll receive a carrying case, calibration certificate, USB cable and other accessories with every Dent Elite Pro XC.

Customer Questions
What is the sample rate per cycle.
The ElitePro XC logger has a sample rate of 12 kHz waveform and .125 second channel sample rate. It's primary design is to give you consumption over a period of time more than catch transient events.
Where do you connect the meter for recording of current, power etc.
The DT80 doesn't not have a built in amplifier so if you require one you would have to use an external one. Here is the information on the excitation voltage it supplies: Analog Channels: Selectable 250µA or 2.5mA Precision Current Source, 4.5V...
any directional property for CT polarity
There are no internal settings to the meter that you can change that will alter the CT polarity/directionality.  This is only done physically, either by swapping the polarity of the leads where they physically connect to the meter, or by flipping...
Do we need to calibrate power meter?
This device is designed to meet the specifications for accuracy out of the box without any additional calibration or adjustment required.
How low of amperage can there be, to still measure the kW accurately?
It would depend on the CT that you use with it. The most popular CT we offer for this device are the RoCoil Flexible Rogowski Current Transformers which can detect a minimum current of 5 Amps.
Is this possible to measure DC Energy without disconnect the loads at starting( without interrupt the loads)
DC voltage can be monitored by connecting the included voltage leads to your voltage source. DC current requires the purchase of a DC specific current transformer or current clamp, which is not sold by Dent. To monitor current without disconnecting...
