Overview of the Dent Instruments PowerScout 12HD Submeter

The Dent Instruments PowerScout 12 HD is a Multi-Circuit Power Submeter that offers maximum flexibility and versatility. This multi-channel instrument can be configured to monitor multiple electrical circuits simultaneously. It can be used with any of Dent’s split-core, solid-core, or the easy to install RoCoil (Rogowski) current transformers. The PS12HD can monitor any combination of up to 4 three-phase or 12 single-phase electrical devices. The meter provides data updates every second and offers ANSI C12.20-210 Class 0.2 revenue grade accuracy when used with the proper CT. The PowerScout is perfect for data center monitoring, tenant submetering, as well as accountability metering in commercial, retail, and industrial facilities.

The PowerScout HD series of meters are not designed to be standalone energy recorders. They need to be connected as a slave device to a data logger, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), or a building management host network.
