    It would depend on how intermittent the events are and if you are able to set a record threshold so that only certain events are recorded.

    This logger can sample at up to 60 times per second but the maximum storage rage is 50ms.  When you sample faster than the storage rate you will get average and peak vector sums per that interval.  The maximum number of samples the logger can record is 168042 in normal recording mode or 112028 in motion detection mode.  The battery life is good for approximately 1000 hours.  The data is given in value of G force.  It does not give values as a frequency value.

    The logger will record the time and date for each recorded value in either normal recording mode or motion detection (conditional/threshold) recording mode.

    The logger itself samples at 200Hz however the shortest interval you can view the data in the software is 500 ms.  The data is show as time stamped peak acceleration, average and peak vector sum.

    You can log for as long as you still have available memory and/or battery life.  The logger can record 112,028 samples per axis if set up using motion detection or 168,042 per axis if normal recording is used.

    Battery life will vary but it's typically around 1000 hours.

    Yes this logger should work well for that application.  The accuracy of the logger is +/-0.5G.

    Yes, you can choose to set up conditional recording in the software.  This is done by setting thresholds on each axis so the logger will only record values exceeding values.
