Questions

  • Answer:

This logger can store up to 64k total readings and can be configured to take a reading as frequently as once every 2 seconds up to once per 24 hours.  How long it can go without being downloaded will depend on the sample rate you select.  After you have downloaded the data you can save it on your PC, export it to Excel, or print it out.

  • Answer:

Once you have finished a recording session and downloaded the data from the logger you need to resend a configuration file to the logger before it can be restarted.  When the configuration file is sent it wipes out the memory on the logger so you can start a new session.

The required software used to configure the logger and download data is available as a free download from our site.

  • Answer:

No the logger can't be plugged into the pressure logger.  Both loggers are standalone devices that connect to a computer either by USB cable or the built in plug in the case of the 5396-0101.  There is an available accessory cable, the 5396-9913, which allows you to connect either logger to an Android device running their mobile app.

  • Answer:

This logger does not come with a calibration certificate.  If you require a calibration certificate it must be added using the calibration option buttons located on the page.

All of our calibrations are NIST traceable and done by our ISO 17025:2005 accredited lab.

By default our calibrations expire in one year however you can list a different expiration date in the notes of the order if you wish.  Once the certificate expires the logger can be shipped back to us to be calibrated again.
