  • Answer:

If you keep the app open on your tablet and the logger connected you can see the current readings but it's not in real time.  There is a delay.

Also, doing this will drain the battery on the logger much quicker than normal as it is staying connected.  These loggers are designed to only connect to the app when you want to download the data.  It's not designed as a real time monitoring device.

No, this isn't a wireless data logger.  In order to view the recorded data you must plug the logger into a computing using a USB cable.

This manufacturer does offer wireless loggers that can transmit data to a mobile device using an app which you can then send to a desktop computing from within the app.

They offer a few of them but this would be the most similar to the one you were looking at - https://www.microdaq.com/onset-hobo-bluetooth-humidity-data-logger.php

The calibration service is optional and must be purchased separately if you require it.  You will see the option to add it to the order just above the "add to cart" button.   We offer two levels of calibration.  They are both the same except one includes uncertainty data on the certificate and the other doesn't.  You would only choose the more expensive one if you are required to document uncertainty.

The data is downloaded using the software which is available as a free download.  Once downloaded you can save it as a csv file and open it in Excel.  This logger uses an internal sensor so no additional sensors are required.  It is powered by a small coin cell battery and can't be powered via AC or by using an AC/USB adaptor.  You can print a data report from the software or print the raw data from Excel.

  • Answer:

The logger will give you the high/low data if set up in Statistical recording mode however it's over the course of the entire deployment and not specific to each 24 hour period.  With that said you can filter that data using the software to create a report showing only your daily high and low data.  It just won't be natively recorded that way.
