Overview of the TandD RTR500BC Base Station/Repeater
The TandD RTR500BC base station is part of the RTR500B series of wireless monitoring systems which allows you to mix and match a wide array of wireless data loggers with various base stations and data collectors to meet your needs. The RTR500BC is a USB base station that connects to your PC using a USB cable. In addition to being used as a base station the RTR500BC can be used as a wireless repeater to extend the range of your wireless monitoring system. Data is received from compatible RTR500B/RTR-500 series wireless data loggers (sold separately). Data collected from the loggers can be viewed using the RTR500BC for Windows software and it can also be sent to the free TandD WebStorageService cloud-based service. Setup can be completed through the PC software or by using T&D 500B utility which is a mobile device app. The RTR500B series of devices are an ideal solution for remote monitoring and data collection in a wide variety of applications, such as museums, art galleries, schools, and other commercial properties. A complete system requires one base station and at least one compatible RTR500B or RTR-500 series data logger.
