My thoughts on the 1208FS Review by WatchWithCareOK
I used the 1208FS (along with 1408 and 1608 units) for several years with a “Visual Basic” program of my own design to monitor and control research equipment. The early model I had, had a slight shortcoming in that the digital current output was marginal for control of an SSR which I was using for 110 VAC on/off parameter control. Otherwise it proved reliable, rugged and easy to use/setup. Over time it was used to monitor and/or control temperature, pressure, frictional force, relative humidity, motor rpm, resistance, counts, fluid flow and fluid levels.
