    The loggers do not come with a calibration certificate.  If a calibration certificate is required you must add it as an option when adding the logger to your shopping cart.  Even without calibration the logger is warrantied to perform within its specification of accuracy for a period of one year. 

    While the logger does use silicone internally to keep out moisture it is not what we would consider an “outdoor” logger.  With that said we do have many customers who use them outdoors without any issues.  If used outdoors we would suggest mounting it in a location that is protected from direct exposure to the elements.  An example would be under an eve or suspended under a plastic cup.  Basically anything that will protect it from the elements but still allow airflow around the sensor.
